Whom do I contact if I don’t believe I was ordered to pay a restitution fine?
If you believe that the judge did not order you to pay a restitution fine, you must provide the Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board with copies of the court documents that you received when you were sentenced. These documents may be called, “minute order”, “abstract of judgment”, or “sentencing minutes”.
